CPS Giving Access to AP Students to Retrieve Exam Materials

April 14, 2020

Cincinnati Public Schools is giving our Advanced Placement (AP) students an opportunity to enter high school buildings on Thursday, April 16, to get books and notes from classrooms.

This year, the College Board, which oversees Advanced Placement testing, is allowing students to use textbooks and notes during AP exams.

Access to our high schools during the COVID-19 school closure is for materials to support AP testing only. Retrieving other items will not be allowed.

Please use your time inside the buildings efficiently. Gather what you need quickly and return home.

We ask students to follow federal Centers for Disease Control protocols:

  • Take your temperatures before arriving. If you have a fever or cough, please stay home.
  • Maintain social distancing, staying a minimum of 6 feet apart from others.
  • Wear face protection.
  • Wash your hands, or use hand sanitizer, before entering the building.

Buildings will be open on Thursday, April 16, on the following schedules, based on students' last names.
